1. An avatar is a life like character that resembles you. Someone might use an avatar in personal life to show people what they look like without having to show a real picture of them.
2. People may use an avatar in an educational career by using them to teach the class like we are now. Using an avatar will help the students learns about them and also allow them to have fun while learning about them. Using an avatar in a business could be for a work blog. They could us an avatar to show who is posting by having their avatar show up when they post.
3. I have used an avatar on my yahoo account.
4. Out of the three sites I liked the voki the best because the characters are more lifelike and I was able to have them talk.
